कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि आपद्धर्मपर्वणि कपोतलुब्धकसंवादोपक्रमे त्रिचत्वारिंशदाधिकशततमो<5 ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi āpaddharmaparvaṇi kapota-lubdhaka-saṃvāda-upakrame tricatvāriṃśad-adhika-śatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
至此，在《圣摩诃婆罗多》中，属于《寂静篇》（Śānti Parva）之《困厄法》（Āpaddharma，困境之时的行持）部分，第一百四十三章告终，并引出鸽（kapota）与猎人（lubdhaka）之对话。此结语标示叙事转入一则道德故事，考察极端境遇下的法（dharma），以及慈悲、克制与正行所受的试炼。
