कपोत-लुब्धकसंवादः — Hunter’s Remorse and Renunciatory Resolve

भीष्म उवाच नैतच्छुत्वा55गमादेव तव धर्मानुशासनम्‌ | प्रज्ञासमवहारो5यं कविभि: सम्भूतं मधु

bhīṣma uvāca | naitat śrutvāgamād eva tava dharmānuśāsanam | prajñā-samavahāro 'yaṃ kavibhiḥ sambhūtaṃ madhu ||

毗湿摩说道:“孩子啊,我给你的这番法(dharma)之训,并非只是从经典中听来便照本宣科。它是辨识之智的汇聚宝藏——如同蜜蜂采集百花之蜜而酿成蜂蜜——由诸贤圣仙人从多种源流编纂而成。这些汇集的见解,在艰难之时或可派上用场;并非每一条都应在任何时刻不加分别地施行。因此,你的心切莫陷入迷妄或沮丧。”
