Śaraṇāgata-Atithi-Dharma in the Kapota Narrative (कपोत-आख्यानम्—शरणागतधर्मः)
एवं विद्वानदीनात्मा व्यसनस्थो जिजीविषु: । सर्वोपायैरुपायज्ञो दीनमात्मानमुद्धरेत्
evaṁ vidvān adīnātmā vyasanastho jijīviṣuḥ | sarvopāyair upāyajño dīnam ātmānam uddharet, rājan ||
大王啊！因此，智者纵陷灾厄而欲保全性命，也不应沉沦于沮丧。既知权宜之道，当以一切可能的方法寻得可行之策，并在危急之时自救脱离其境。
