मृदुनैव मृदुं हन्ति मृदुना हन्ति दारुणम् । नासाध्यं मृदुना किंचित् तस्मात् तीक्षणतरो मृदुः
mṛdunaiva mṛduṃ hanti mṛdunā hanti dāruṇam | nāsādhyaṃ mṛdunā kiṃcit tasmāt tīkṣṇataro mṛduḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“唯以柔和，能胜柔者；亦以柔和，能制暴者。柔和之道，无所不可成；故柔和实为最锋利之兵。”
