Transliteration

vāg-mātreṇa vinītaḥ syād hṛdayena yathā kṣuraḥ | ślakṣṇa-pūrvābhibhāṣī ca kāma-krodhau vivarjayet ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“君王在言辞上但可示以谦恭，而其心当如剃刀般锋利。与人相接，先以柔和悦耳之辞；并当舍弃欲与怒。”
