तम्मित्र कारणं सर्व विस्तरेणापि मे शूणु । कारणात्‌ प्रियतामेति द्वेष्यो भवति कारणात्‌

Transliteration

tan mitra kāraṇaṁ sarvaṁ vistareṇāpi me śṛṇu | kāraṇāt priyatām eti dveṣyo bhavati kāraṇāt ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“朋友啊，且听我将此中缘由尽数详说。就连你所说的甜言——‘今日你于我甚为可爱’——亦有其因。人因因缘而得爱，也因因缘而招憎。”
