तमेवंवादिन प्राज्ञ: शास्त्रबुद्धिसमन्वित: । उवाचेदं वच: श्रेष्ठ मार्जार मूषिकस्तदा
tam evaṁ-vādinaṁ prājñaḥ śāstra-buddhi-samanvitaḥ | uvācedaṁ vacaḥ śreṣṭha mārjāra-mūṣikas tadā ||
于是，那只睿智的老鼠——其心智受《沙斯特拉》（śāstra）教诲所陶冶——对那般言说的猫开口，讲出了这些卓越之语。
