Bala and Dharma in Kṣatriya Governance (बल-धर्म सम्बन्धः)
अपचिक्रमिषु: क्षिप्रं साम्ना वा परिसान्त्वयन् । विलड्घयित्वा मन्त्रेण तत: स्वयमुपक्रमेत्
apacikramiṣuḥ kṣipraṃ sāmnā vā parisāntvayan | vilaṅghayitvā mantreṇa tataḥ svayam upakramet ||
毗湿摩说道：若势所迫而必须退却，当迅速退却——或以和言抚慰、柔辞劝解；或以谋议与权计智胜对方。既已从城堡或险境中脱身保全，便当等待适当时机；继而在贤智与尊长之认可下，开始谋求收复所失——财物，乃至王国。
