यम उवाच तपःशौचवता नित्यं सत्यधर्मरतेन च | मातापित्रोरहरह: पूजनं कार्यमज्जसा

Transliteration

yama uvāca tapaḥ-śaucavatā nityaṁ satya-dharma-ratena ca | mātā-pitror ahar-ahaḥ pūjanaṁ kāryam ajjasā ||

Translation

阎摩说道：“人应当恒常修行苦行，守持内外清净，并专心奉行真实之法。于此一切之中，他还必须每日不加迟延地侍奉并礼敬供养父母。”
