Gautama–Yama Saṃvāda: Mātṛ-Pitṛ-Ṛṇa (Debt to Parents) and Śubha-Loka Attainment
भवत् तपोविघधातो वा यदि स्याद् विरमे ततः । यदि वास्ति कथायोगो योडयं प्रश्नो मयेरित:
bhavat tapovighadhāto vā yadi syād virame tataḥ | yadi vāsti kathāyogo yo 'yaṃ praśno mayeritaḥ |
毗湿摩说道：“若我之发问将扰乱诸君的苦行（tapas），我当即刻止息；但若诸君尚有闲暇可作谈论，便请解我所提出之疑。愿诸君明白宣说：希望之因何在？一人之能力其真实尺度为何？诸君恒常奉行苦行，故请共聚一处，同心商议此事。”
