Sumitra Itihāsa Begins
एवमस्त्विति स प्राह प्रह्मादो विस्मितस्तदा । उपाकृत्य तु विप्राय वरं दुःखान्वितो5भवत्
evam astv iti sa prāha prahrādo vismitas tadā | upākṛtya tu viprāya varaṁ duḥkhānvito 'bhavat ||
然而当时惊异的普罗诃罗陀仍说道：“就如此吧。”并将恩赐授予婆罗门。可在满足其所求之后，他却陷入深深的忧苦。
