Daṇḍotpatti-kathana (Origin and Function of Daṇḍa) — वसुहोम–मान्धातृ संवाद
शास्त्र ब्राह्मणमन्त्राश्व॒ शास्ता प्राग्वदतां वर: । धर्मपालो5क्षरो देव: सत्यगो नित्यगोडग्रज:
śāstra-brāhmaṇa-mantrāśva śāstā prāg-vadatāṃ varaḥ | dharma-pālo 'kṣaro devaḥ satya-go nitya-go 'grajaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“他是至上的导师，是古来言说者中最卓越者——维护经论（śāstra）的权威，守护婆罗门的神圣，彰显圣咒（mantra）的力量。他是法的护持者，不坏的神圣者，恒行于真实之中，恒常坚定——为诸长者之首。”
