Transliteration

khātaka-vyūha-tattva-jñaṁ bala-harṣaṇa-kovidam | iddhitākāra-tattva-jñaṁ yātrā-jñāna-viśāradam ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“国王当任命为大臣者，应通晓掘壕与布阵之真义；善于振奋军心、鼓舞兵力；明了城防与守备工事之实情；并精通出征行军之学。”
