Vyāghra–Gomāyu Saṃvāda (व्याघ्रगोमायु संवाद) — Testing Character Beneath Appearances

संतापिताश्न ये केचिद्‌ व्यसनौघप्रतीक्षिण: । अन्तर्तहिता: सोपदहितास्ते सर्वे परसाधना:

santāpitāśn ye kecid vyasanaugha-pratīkṣiṇaḥ | antartahitāḥ sopadahitās te sarve para-sādhanāḥ ||

毗湿摩说道:那些心怀怨愤、困苦不堪的侍从——等待灾祸洪流降临其王;隐匿不出,暗自滋养怨恨;奸诈狡黠,私下立意加害——凡此之人,皆会成为敌人的工具。
