अपन बक। ] अत्शका:<ह एकादशोब< ध्याय: अर्जुनका पक्षिरूपधारी इन्द्र और ऋषिबालकोंके संवादका उल्लेखपूर्वक गृहस्थ-धर्मके पालनपर जोर देना अजुन उवाच अनत्रैवोदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् | तापसै: सह संवाद शक्रस्य भरतर्षभ
Arjuna uvāca | anatraivodāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | tāpasaiḥ saha saṃvādaṃ śakrasya bharatarṣabha ||
阿周那说道：“噢，婆罗多族中的雄杰！正因这件事，博学之士常引一则古老先例：往昔因陀罗（释迦罗，Śakra）与诸苦行者的对话旧闻。今在此重述，作为训诫之例，使人明了并守持达摩——尤其是居家者应以戒律奉行其本分。”
