ऋषय जश्न हि देवाश्न प्रीयन्ते पितृभि: सह । पूज्यमानेषु गुरुषु तस्मात् पूज्यतमो गुरु:
Transliteration
ṛṣayaś ca hi devāś ca prīyante pitṛbhiḥ saha | pūjyamāneṣu guruṣu tasmāt pūjyatamo guruḥ ||
Translation
毗湿摩说道：当人礼敬师长之时，诸仙、诸神——连同祖先——皆得欢喜。因此，在一切应受敬者之中，师者最当受敬。
