Gaṇa-nīti
गोत्रस्य नाशं कुर्वन्ति गणभेदस्य कारकम् । कुलोंमें जो कलह होते हैं, उनकी यदि कुलके वृद्ध पुरुषोंने उपेक्षा कर दी तो वे कलह गणोंमें फ़ूट डालकर समस्त कुलका नाश कर डालते हैं
gotrasya nāśaṁ kurvanti gaṇabhedasya kārakam |
毗湿摩说：“凡成为分裂结党之因者，必致宗族覆亡。家中起争而长者轻忽不理，则其争端将裂分族内诸群，终至毁灭整个血脉。”
