अन्तरिक्षे महानाद: श्रूयते भरतर्षभ । भरतश्रेष्ठ उस समय आकाशमें यक्षों, राक्षमों तथा पिशाचोंका महान् कोलाहल सुनायी देने लगा
antarikṣe mahānādaḥ śrūyate bharatarṣabha |
风神说道：“婆罗多族中的雄牛啊，中天之中传来巨大的轰鸣。”就在那一刻，苍穹回荡起滔天喧嚣——夜叉、罗刹与毗舍遮的嘈杂呼号——这是凶兆，表明战场周遭的道德秩序正在被撼动，诸多不可见的力量也在对眼前的杀戮作出回应。
