Gadā-yuddhe Bhīma–Duryodhanayoḥ Tumulaḥ Saṃprahāraḥ
Mace-duel’s intense exchange

ity evam uccai rājendra bhāṣamāṇaṁ vṛkodaram | uvāca gatabhī rājān putras te satyavikramaḥ ||
三阇耶说道:“噢,诸王之主!当弗利阇多罗(毗摩)如此高声言说之时,你那真正勇武的儿子,毫无惧色地向他发话。”

The verse highlights the kṣatriya ideal of fearlessness and steadfast valor in the midst of conflict: even when confronted by Bhīma’s loud, forceful speech, the opposing prince responds without intimidation, emphasizing resolve and courage as ethical expectations in wartime conduct.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Bhīma (Vṛkodara) is speaking loudly, and that Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s son—described as truly valorous—answers him fearlessly, setting up a verbal exchange amid the battle events of the Śalya Parva.
