ते सर्वे ब्राह्मणा राज॑स्तपोभिनिियमैस्तथा । उपवासैश्व विविधैर्यमै: कष्टव्रतैस्तथा

Transliteration

te sarve brāhmaṇā rājan tapobhir niyamais tathā | upavāsaiś ca vividhair yamaiḥ kaṣṭa-vratais tathā ||

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说道：“大王啊，那些婆罗门众以苦行与戒律、以种种斋戒、以诸般自制（yama）与艰苦誓愿，皆勤修严峻的灵修。”
