गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel

क्व ते तत्‌ पौरुषं यातं क्व च मान: सुयोधन । क्व च विक्रान्तता याता कक्‍्व च विस्फूर्जितं महत्‌

sañjaya uvāca | kva te tat pauruṣaṃ yātaṃ kva ca mānaḥ suyodhana | kva ca vikrāntatā yātā kva ca visphūrjitaṃ mahat |

三阇耶说道:“噢,苏优陀那,你那男子之勇到哪里去了?你的傲气如今何在?你的英武去了何方,那震天的咆哮与虚张声势又在哪里?(你对兵器武艺的精通又到哪里去了?)在这样的时刻,你怎能在这湖中沉睡?噢,婆罗多的后裔,起身吧,依刹帝利之责而战。”
