गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
क्व ते तत् पौरुषं यातं क्व च मान: सुयोधन । क्व च विक्रान्तता याता कक््व च विस्फूर्जितं महत्
sañjaya uvāca | kva te tat pauruṣaṃ yātaṃ kva ca mānaḥ suyodhana | kva ca vikrāntatā yātā kva ca visphūrjitaṃ mahat |
三阇耶说道：“噢，苏优陀那，你那男子之勇到哪里去了？你的傲气如今何在？你的英武去了何方，那震天的咆哮与虚张声势又在哪里？（你对兵器武艺的精通又到哪里去了？）在这样的时刻，你怎能在这湖中沉睡？噢，婆罗多的后裔，起身吧，依刹帝利之责而战。”
