शरैरनेकसाहसैर्वारियामास संयुगे । उन सबको युद्धसे उदासीन देख प्रतापी माद्रीकुमार सहदेवने अनेक सहस्र बाणोंकी वर्षा करके उन्हें युद्धस्थलमें ही रोक दिया
sañjaya uvāca | śarair aneka-sāhasair vāriyāmāsa saṃyuge |
三阇耶说道：在激战之中，他以成千上万支箭矢将他们遏止。见那些武士对战斗渐生冷淡、意欲退避，摩德丽之子、英勇的萨诃提婆便倾泻无数箭雨，将他们牢牢钉在战场之上——迫使他们履行战士之责，不得在战争正酣时抽身离阵。
