प्राद्रवनू सहसा भीता: शकुनेश्व॒ पदानुगा: । शत्रुदमन भीमसेनने शत्रुसेनाको विदीर्ण करके बड़े जोरसे सिंहनाद किया। उनकी उस गर्जनासे भयभीत हो शकुनिके पीछे चलनेवाले सारे सैनिक घोड़े और हाथियोंसहित सहसा भाग खड़े हुए

prādravanū sahasā bhītāḥ śakuneś ca padānugāḥ | śatrudamana bhīmasenena śatrusenā vidīrṇā kṛtvā mahābalena siṃhanādaḥ kṛtaḥ | tasya garjanayā bhayabhītāḥ śakuneḥ paścād anugāḥ sarve sainikā aśvaiś ca hastibhiḥ saha sahasā palāyitāḥ |

三阇耶说道:追随沙昆尼的军队惊恐万状,忽然四散奔逃。毗摩塞那,这位降伏仇敌者,击碎敌阵之后,发出震天的狮子吼。那雷霆般的吼声使人胆寒,凡在沙昆尼身后行进的士卒——连同战马与战象——尽皆溃散,立刻奔走。
