Chapter 23: Śakuni Reports, Kaurava Advance, and Arjuna’s Penetration of the Host
ततो<भ्यधावंस्त्वरिता: पाण्डवा जयगृद्धिनः । पदातयश्न नागाश्न सादिनश्लोद्यतायुधा:
tato 'bhyadhāvaṁs tvaritāḥ pāṇḍavā jayagṛddhinaḥ | padātayaś ca nāgāś ca sādinaś codyatāyudhāḥ ||
于是，般度五子行动迅疾、渴求胜利，齐齐冲上前去。步兵、象兵与骑兵——尽皆高举兵刃——并进而上，以协同之势猛压敌阵；战场之责与求胜之心，驱使他们掀起这股急迫的攻潮。
