मदर्थे प्रतियुद्धयेतां मानाहौँ सत्यसड्रौ । मां वा शल्यो रणे हन्ता त॑ वाहं भद्गमस्तु व:

Transliteration

madarthe pratiyuddhyetāṁ mānārhau satyasaṅgarau | māṁ vā śalyo raṇe hantā taṁ vāhaṁ bhadram astu vaḥ ||

Translation

桑阇耶说道：“为我之故，让那俱罗与娑诃提婆——堪受荣誉、誓愿坚贞——以刹帝利之法为先，在战场上与其外舅交战。其后，或是沙利耶于阵中杀我，或是我将诛杀于他。愿诸君安泰。”
