अमार्गेणैवमार भ्य घोरामापदमागत: । “इस प्रकार गुरुजनोंने पहले-से ही सब लोगोंको सदाके लिये यह शिक्षा दे रखी है। परंतु मैं उस शास्त्रोक्त सनातन मार्गका उल्लंघन करके बिना रास्तेके ही चलकर इस प्रकार अनुचित कर्मका आरम्भ करके भयंकर आपत्तिमें पड़ गया हूँ
amārgeṇaivamārabhya ghorām āpadam āgataḥ |
三阇耶说：“我竟循无路之路而行——在不合经教所许之道外贸然起事——遂堕入可怖的灾厄。长老们早已教诲众人：有一条依圣典而立、恒常不变的正道；而我违犯那永恒的法则，弃道而行，发动不当之举，因此陷入骇人的困境。”
