三阇耶曰:“大王!召来克利多跋摩与克利波之后,德罗那之子阿湿婆他摩——大车战士——心为忿怒所吞,来到营门。”

The verse highlights how actions initiated under overpowering wrath (manyu) can lead toward ethically dangerous choices. It signals a shift from disciplined warfare to impulsive, retaliatory intent, warning that inner agitation can eclipse dharmic restraint.
Aśvatthāmā, burning with anger, calls Kṛtavarmā and Kṛpa to join him and then goes to the entrance of the camp, setting the stage for the ensuing events of the Sauptika episode.
