Rudra’s Omitted Share in the Yajña (रुद्रभागानुपपत्तिः — यज्ञोपाख्यानम्)
हवाकी गति रुक गयी, आग समिधा और घी आदिसे जलानेकी चेष्टा की जानेपर भी प्रज्वलित नहीं होती थी और आकाशमें नक्षत्रोंका समूह उद्विग्न होकर घूमने लगा ।।
na babhau bhāskaraś cāpi somaḥ śrīmuktamaṇḍalaḥ | timireṇākulaṃ sarvam ākāśaṃ cābhavad vṛtam ||
毗舍摩波耶那说：风势停息；即便以祭柴（samidhā）与酥油（ghee）竭力点火，火也不肯燃起。天上群星惊惶而旋转。太阳不复朗照，月轮失其光华，黑暗弥漫，整个苍穹仿佛被帷幕遮蔽。
