परिक्षिन्नाम नृपतिर्मिषतस्ते सुदुर्मते । दुर्मते! इसके बाद तेरे देखते-देखते महाबाहु कुरुराज परीक्षित् ही इस भूमण्डलका सम्राट् होगा
parikṣinnāma nṛpatir miṣatas te sudurmate | durmate! iṣke bāda tere dekhate-dekhate mahābāhu kururāja parīkṣit hi asya bhūmaṇḍalasya samrāṭ bhaviṣyati ||
毗湿摩波耶那说：“将有一位名为帕利克希特的国王兴起——而你这极度迷妄之人，只能无力旁观。是的，就在你眼前，那位臂力雄伟的俱卢王子帕利克希特将成为统御此整个大地的君主。”
