毗湿摩耶那说道:他在盛怒中抛出残酷之言:“为毁灭般度族!”他无法忍受那些英雄屹立不动、手持天界兵器的景象;在绝境逼迫之下,他怒放神圣飞弹,并厉声宣告此器将使一切般度族走向覆灭。从伦理上看,此刻标志着他坠入狂怒与绝望:意图由交战转为灭绝,预示着不受节制的阿斯特罗之力所带来的凶险。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical danger of anger-driven action: when rage and fear govern judgment, one may resort to disproportionate, annihilative violence—especially perilous when wielding divine weapons whose effects exceed ordinary warfare. It cautions that intent and self-control are central to dharma, even amid conflict.
In the Sauptika episode’s aftermath, the narrator describes a warrior who cannot bear the opposing heroes standing ready with celestial arms. In desperation and wrath he releases a divine missile and proclaims it will destroy all the Pāṇḍavas, signaling a grave escalation from battle to total destruction.
