एकवस्त्राथ पाज्चाली पाण्डवानभ्यवैक्षत । हतस्वान् द्वतराज्यांश्व॒ हृतवस्त्रान् हृतश्रिय:
sañjaya uvāca | ekavastrātha pāñcālī pāṇḍavān abhyavaikṣata | hatasvān dhṛtarāṣṭrāṁś ca hṛtavastrān hṛtaśriyaḥ ||
三阇耶说道：于是般遮罗女（德罗帕蒂）仅披一衣，望向般度诸子。她看见持国之子们欢呼得意，而般度五子却站在那里，衣被剥夺，王家福泽尽失——这是朝会中的道德浩劫：对一位女子的凌辱，成为达摩被践踏的明证，也是在召唤将以暴烈之手降临的报应。
