अतिद्यूतं कृतमिदं धार्तराष्ट्र यस्मात् स्त्रियं विवदध्वं सभायाम् । योगक्षेमौ नश्यतो वः समग्रौ पापान् मन्त्रान् कुरवो मन्त्रयन्ति,धृतराष्ट्रके पुत्रों! तुमलोगोंने मर्यादाका उल्लंघन करके यह जूएका खेल किया है। तभी तो तुम भरी सभामें स्त्रीको लाकर उसके लिये विवाद कर रहे हो। तुम्हारे योग और क्षेम दोनों पूर्णतया नष्ट हो रहे हैं। आज सब लोगोंको मालूम हो गया कि कौरव पापपूर्ण मन्त्रणा ही करते हैं
atidyūtaṁ kṛtam idaṁ dhārtarāṣṭra yasmāt striyaṁ vivadadhvaṁ sabhāyām | yogakṣemau naśyato vaḥ samagrau pāpān mantrān kuravo mantrayanti ||
毗度罗说道：“达罗多罗湿多罗之子啊，这掷骰之戏已是过度而悖于法度（达摩）。因此你们竟在王者大会之中牵来一位女子，为她争执，仿佛她只是财物。此举将使你们的福祉与安稳尽皆毁灭。今日众人已看得分明：库鲁族所议者，唯罪恶之谋。”
