Escalation of Wagers and Shakuni’s Repeated Declarations of Victory
जगाम तेषां सा रात्रि: पुण्या रतिविहारिणाम् । स्तूयमानाश्व विश्रान्ता: काले निद्रामथात्यजन्
jagāma teṣāṃ sā rātriḥ puṇyā rativihāriṇām | stūyamānāś ca viśrāntāḥ kāle nidrām athātyajan ||
于是，他们那吉祥之夜在欢爱游乐中度过。及至时辰相宜，既已安歇充足，又在黎明听见宫廷颂者的赞歌，他们便起身，抛却睡意。此偈彰显王家生活的节律：享乐受时间与公务所约束；纵是欢娱之后，也须循礼而醒，受颂而起，诸仪具备。
