Escalation of Wagers and Shakuni’s Repeated Declarations of Victory
प्रविवेश गृहं राज्ञो धृतराष्ट्रस्य धीमत: । ददर्श तत्र गान्धारीं देवीं पतिमनुव्रताम्
praviveśa gṛhaṃ rājño dhṛtarāṣṭrasya dhīmataḥ | dadarśa tatra gāndhārīṃ devīṃ patimanuvratām ||
毗湿摩波耶那说：他进入了智者持国王（Dhṛtarāṣṭra）的居所。在那里，他见到王后甘陀利（Gāndhārī）——一位高贵的王妃，坚守贞顺之誓，恭敬随侍其夫，正是王室内宅中妇道（dharma）的写照。
