Śiśupāla-vākya: Bhīṣma-nindā and the ‘Haṃsa’ Exemplum (शिशुपालवाक्यम् — भीष्मनिन्दा, हंसदृष्टान्तः)
समागतानामश्रौष॑ बहुन् बहुमतान् सताम् | मैंने बहुत-से ज्ञानवृद्ध महात्माओंका संग किया है। अपने यहाँ पधारे हुए उन संतोंके मुखसे अनन्तगुणशाली भगवान् श्रीकृष्णके असंख्य बहुसम्मत गुणोंका वर्णन सुना है
samāgatānām aśrauṣaṁ bahūn bahumatān satām |
毗湿摩说道：“我曾从许多德行具足、为众所敬的圣贤那里听闻；他们聚集而来，亦曾莅临我王庭。我与众多智慧长老相交，从那些圣者亲口聆听到：具无尽德性的薄伽梵·圣奎师那（Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa），其功德无量无边，且为世人普遍称颂。”
