ततस्तुष्टौी महात्मानौ सहदेवाय वानरौ । ऊचतुश्चैव संह्ृष्टौ प्रीतिपूर्वमिदं वच:,तब वे दोनों महात्मा वानर अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हो सहदेवसे प्रेमपूर्वक बोले--
tatas tuṣṭau mahātmānau sahadevāya vānarau | ūcatuś caiva saṁhṛṣṭau prītipūrvam idaṁ vacaḥ ||
于是,那两位高贵的猿者大为欢喜,满怀亲爱之情,欣然对萨诃提婆说道——
वैशम्पायन उवाच

Vaiśampāyana narrates that two noble vānaras become pleased and delighted, and then speak affectionately to Sahadeva, introducing the words they are about to say.
