अन्वारुरोह चाप्येनं प्रेम्णा राजा युधिष्ठिर: । अपास्य चास्य यन्तारं दारुक॑ यन्तृसत्तमम्,उस समय श्रीकृष्णका रथ हाँकनेवाले सारथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ दारुकको हटाकर उसके स्थानमें राजा युधिष्ठिर प्रेमपूर्वक भगवान्के साथ रथपर जा बैठे
anvāruroha cāpy enaṁ premṇā rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | apāsya cāsya yantāraṁ dārukaṁ yantr̥sattamam ||
毗湿摩波耶那说:其时,国王尤提士提罗怀着深情与敬仰,也登上车与他同乘;他让达鲁迦——最卓越的御者——退下,自己坐在主的身旁。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores dharmic conduct through humility and reverence: a righteous king honors a revered person not merely with words but by personally accompanying him, even altering normal arrangements. It reflects ethical hospitality (satkāra) and devotion expressed through respectful action.
Yudhiṣṭhira climbs onto the chariot with the honored figure and has Dāruka, the expert charioteer, step aside. The scene emphasizes Yudhiṣṭhira’s affectionate respect and his desire to be personally present rather than delegating the moment to attendants.
