Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच ततस्ते भरतश्रेष्ठ काशिराजसुते शुभे । त॑ं बालमभिपलद्याशु प्रस्रवैरभ्यषिड्चताम्
śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca | tataste bharataśreṣṭha kāśirājasute śubhe | taṁ bālam abhipaladyāśu prasravair abhyasiñcatām ||
圣克里希那说道:“于是,噢,婆罗多族中最卓越者,那迦尸王的两位吉祥公主立刻将婴儿抱入怀中,以乳房涌出的乳汁为他沐浴。”
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच
The verse foregrounds immediate compassion and protective care toward the vulnerable: the women respond instinctively and nurturingly to an infant, illustrating a dharmic ethic where safeguarding life and offering sustenance take precedence over delay or hesitation.
Śrī Kṛṣṇa narrates that the two daughters of the king of Kāśī promptly lift an infant into their arms and soothe/cleanse him by letting the milk from their breasts flow over him—an image of urgent maternal care and acceptance.
