राजसूयविचारः — Deliberation on the Rajasuya and the Summoning of Kṛṣṇa
किमुक्तवांश्व॒ भगवंस्तन्ममाचक्ष्व सुव्रत । त्वत्त: श्रोतुं सर्वमिदं परं कौतूहलं हि मे
kim uktavān śva bhagavaṁs tan mamācakṣva suvrata | tvattaḥ śrotuṁ sarvam idaṁ paraṁ kautūhalaṁ hi me, vipravara | āpane pitṛlokeṁ jākar mere pitā mahābhāga pāṇḍuko bhī dekhā thā, kis prakār ve āpse mile the? bhagavan! unhoṁne āpse kyā kahā? yah mujhe batāiye | suvrata! āpse yah sab kuch sunne ke liye mere man meṁ baṛī utkaṇṭhā hai
尤提士提罗说道:“尊者啊,善守誓戒者啊,请告诉我他对你说了什么。我渴望从你这里听到全部;婆罗门中的最上者啊,我心中生起了极大的好奇。你前往祖先之界时,也见到了我那显赫的父亲般度(Pāṇḍu)——他如何与你相会?又对你说了什么?请为我详述。我心切切,盼从你亲口听尽这一切。”
युधिछ्िर उवाच
The verse models dhārmic inquiry: Yudhiṣṭhira approaches a revered Brahmin with humility and disciplined curiosity, seeking truthful knowledge about his father and the ancestral realm—showing reverence, filial responsibility, and the ethical value of learning from trustworthy sources.
Yudhiṣṭhira questions a Brahmin sage who has visited Pitṛloka, asking him to recount how Pāṇḍu met him there and what Pāṇḍu said, because Yudhiṣṭhira is intensely eager to hear the details directly from the sage.
