Description of Brahmā’s Assembly and the Eminence of Hariścandra
पुरंदरश्न देवेन्द्रोी वरूुणो धनदो यम: । महादेव: सहोमो<त्र सदा गच्छति सर्वश:
Purandaraś ca Devendro Varuṇo Dhanado Yamaḥ | Mahādevaḥ sa Somo 'tra sadā gacchati sarvaśaḥ ||
那罗陀说道:“在此处,破城者(因陀罗,Purandara/Indra)——诸天之主——与伐楼那(Varuṇa)、施财之主俱毗罗(Kubera)、阎摩(Yama),以及与苏摩(Soma)同在的大自在天(Mahādeva)——这些神祇恒常往来,遍行诸方。”就上下文而言,此言强调:神圣的监察并不局限于一处;宇宙秩序由常在的护持者维系,提醒君王与会堂:一切行为皆被见证,并在道德的宇宙中受裁断。
नारद उवाच
That the world is pervaded by divine guardians who uphold order and justice; therefore, one’s conduct—especially in public and political life—should align with dharma, since actions are not hidden from moral scrutiny.
Nārada lists major deities—Indra, Varuṇa, Kubera, Yama, Śiva, and Soma—stating that they constantly move everywhere, emphasizing their pervasive presence and the continual maintenance of cosmic and ethical order.
