Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā
नियति तु जने तस्मिन् सागरो मकरालय: । द्वारकां रत्नसम्पूर्णा जलेनाप्लावयत् तदा,उस जनसमुदायके निकलते ही मगरों और घड़ियालोंके निवासस्थान समुद्रने रत्नोंसे भरी-पूरी द्वारका नगरीको जलसे डुबो दिया
niyati tu jane tasmin sāgaro makarālayaḥ | dvārakāṃ ratnasampūrṇāṃ jalena aplāvayat tadā ||
毗湿摩波耶那说：当那群人离去之时——为“尼耶底”（命定）所驱——大海，这摩伽罗之所居者，遂以洪水淹没宝藏充盈的兜罗迦，使其沉入波涛。此颂昭示命运之不可抗拒：纵使人间极盛之业，终亦归于消散。
