ततः प्रादुरभूच्छब्द: समिद्धस्य विभावसो: । सामगानां च निर्घोषो नराणां रुदतामपि,उस समय प्रज्वलित अग्निका चट-चट शब्द, सामगान करनेवाले ब्राह्मणोंके वेदमन्त्रोच्चारणका गम्भीर घोष तथा रोते हुए मनुष्योंका आर्तनाद एक साथ ही प्रकट हुआ
tataḥ prādurabhūc chabdaḥ samiddhasya vibhāvasoḥ | sāmagānāṃ ca nirghoṣo narāṇāṃ rudatām api ||
随后，刹那之间，烈火熊熊的噼啪轰响、萨摩（Sāma）圣歌的深沉回荡，以及哭泣之人悲恸的哀号，一齐涌起。诸声交并，标记着一刻共同的震荡：在毁灭之后，仪式的庄严与人间的哀痛相互碰撞。
