ततः समासाद्य महानुभावं कृष्णस्तदा दारुकमन्वशासत् । गत्वा कुरून् सर्वमिमं महान्तं पार्थाय शंसस्व वध्ध॑ यदूनाम्,उन महानुभावके पास पहुँचकर श्रीकृष्णने तत्काल दारुकको आज्ञा दी कि तुम शीघ्र ही कुरुदेशकी राजधानी हस्तिनापुरमें जाकर अर्जुनको यादवोंके इस महासंहारका सारा समाचार कह सुनाओ
tataḥ samāsādya mahānubhāvaṃ kṛṣṇas tadā dārukam anvāśāsat | gatvā kurūn sarvam imaṃ mahāntaṃ pārthāya śaṃsasva vaddhaṃ yadūnām ||
毗舍波耶那说：随后，奎师那走近高贵的达鲁迦，立刻吩咐道：“去见俱卢族，将这场巨大的灾变尽数禀告帕尔塔（阿周那）——告诉他夜陀婆族的毁灭。”此命令凸显：在集体覆亡之后，传达真实消息具有迫切的伦理意义，使正当的领袖得以清明而克制地应对。
