दोनोंके कर्म विख्यात थे। युद्धमें पुरुषार्थ और बलकी दृष्टिसे दोनों ही शम्बरासुर और देवराज इन्द्रके समान थे ।।
kārtavīrya-samau cobhau tathā dāśaratheḥ samau | viṣṇu-vīrya-samau cobhau tathā bhava-samau yudhi ||
三阇耶说道：二人皆以功业著称。战阵逼迫之际，就雄武与纯力而言，他们如同阿修罗商婆罗，又如同天帝因陀罗。确然，在战争中二人同等于迦尔塔维利耶·阿周那，同等于达沙罗陀之子罗摩；其勇力同等于毗湿奴，同等于婆伐（湿婆）自身——在交锋中竟如此强盛。
