विमुखीकृत्य तान् सर्वान् शरै: संनतपर्वभि: । पजञ्चालानहनच्छूरांश्षेदीनां च महारथान्,उसने झुकी हुई गाँठवाले बाणोंसे उन समस्त वीरोंको युद्धसे विमुख करके पांचालवीरों और चेदि-देशीय महारथियोंको मारना आरम्भ किया
vimukhīkṛtya tān sarvān śaraiḥ sannatapārvasbhiḥ | pañcālān ahanac chūrān śedīnāṃ ca mahārathān ||
