毗摩塞那说道:“毗首迦啊,战场四面尽是惊惶的呼号。无数巨象之王正放声长鸣。”
भीमसेन उवाच
The verse underscores the human and animal suffering inherent in war: the battlefield’s chaos is mirrored in the terrified cries of powerful creatures. It implicitly warns that martial glory is inseparable from widespread distress and moral cost.
Bhīma addresses Viśoka and describes the immediate scene of combat: the field is overwhelmed by tumult, and numerous great elephants are trumpeting loudly, signaling intense fighting and disorder across the army.
