桑阇耶说道:“在你的庇护之下,那些善斩强敌的勇士——般度诸子与般遮罗、摩蹉、迦卢沙及支提诸军——已使敌方诸军团覆灭。”

The verse highlights the ethical weight of protection and leadership in war: when a protector (guardian/commander) effectively shields allies, their collective strength can decisively reduce harm from hostile forces. It underscores responsibility—victory is attributed not only to fighters but also to the one who safeguards and coordinates them.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the allied forces on the Pāṇḍava side—Pāṇḍavas with Pāñcālas, Matsyas, Kāruṣas, and Cedis—have, under the protection of the addressed person (“you”), inflicted heavy destruction upon the enemy formations.
