三阇耶说道:在那一战中,毗湿摩独自一人便成就了“孤勇之冠军”的境界——驱退般度族与斯林阇耶诸军,在战场上以无双英雄之名震动四方。此句凸显:在战争里,非凡的武艺足以在刹那间压过人数与盟约;同时也暗示了那种悲壮的宏伟——受达摩所系的战士们,被锁在彼此毁灭的宿命之中。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ideal of kṣatriya valor: steadfastness and exceptional prowess even when alone. Ethically, it also points to the ambivalence of war—heroic excellence becomes celebrated, yet it serves a destructive end within a larger dharma-conflict.
Sañjaya reports that Bhīṣma, fighting single-handedly, dominates the battlefield—repelling the Pāṇḍavas and the Sṛñjayas and earning fame as an unmatched warrior in that encounter.
