कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira

तस्माद्‌ भवान्‌ परं धर्म वेद सर्व यथातथम्‌ । तीनों लोकोंमें कहीं कोई भी ऐसी बात नहीं है जो आपको विदित न हो; अत: आप ही परम धर्मको सम्पूर्ण और यथार्थरूपसे जानते हैं ।।

tasmād bhavān paraṃ dharma veda sarvaṃ yathātatham | avadhyaṃ pāṇḍavaṃ manye dharmarājaṃ yudhiṣṭhiram |

阿周那说道:“因此,你知晓至上之法(Dharma)——万事万物皆如其实而明了。我认为般度之子、法王优提施提罗不应被杀。故请你施以慈恩,指示我一条道路,使我既能守住誓言,又不致犯下弑兄之罪。”
