कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira
प्राणिनामवधस्तात सर्वज्यायान् मतो मम । अनृतां वा वदेद् वाचं न तु हिंस्थात् कथंचन
prāṇinām avadhas tāta sarvajyāyān mato mama | anṛtāṃ vā vaded vācaṃ na tu hiṃsyāt kathaṃcana ||
奎师那说道：“孩子啊，依我之见，诸道之中最高者是：不可杀害众生。若为救一命而不得不说不实之言，便说吧——但无论如何，都不可对那生命施以暴力。”
